The equation of Carnahan-Starling is an approximate equation of state for the fluid phase of the Hard Sphere model in three dimensions.
where:
- is the pressure

- is the volume

- is the number of particles

- is the Boltzmann constant

- is the absolute temperature

- is the packing fraction:

- is the Hard Sphere diameter
